Thrive Hive is powered by NZIE, a NZQA Category 1 provider who has been delivering best-in-class foundation education since 2007.

We’ve recently joined our sister school NZIE (New Zealand Institute of Education)We are a foundation training provider which has helped thousands of people into employment or further study since we began in 1998. We’re pretty proud of our 90% course completion rate but it’s not just about leaving with a piece of paper. It’s about having the confidence and self-belief to apply your skills to the next stage in your journey. That’s what we’re really good at giving our graduates. We’re a family owned business with a super supportive network of teachers so you’ll have people cheering you on every step of the way. We get that life isn’t always neat and perfect and lots of our students have overcome big obstacles to be here, so we try to be as flexible and life-friendly as possible.

Most of our courses run from 9am – 2:30pm, Monday to Thursday so even if you’ve got other commitments to juggle it’s still worth having a chat. And because we’re a top ranked training provider most of our courses are fully funded so they’re FREE. Phew. Now the only investment you have to make is in yourself. South Auckland is our biggest campus but we also have campuses in Takapuna and Henderson. We are a New Zealand government endorsed Category 1 provider with a dual ‘Highly Confident’ rating in our latest EER. Notably all 18 areas were assessed as “Excellent”. This puts us among the most successful training providers in the country.

We’re on track to becoming the No.1 pathway provider in Auckland for Maori and Pacific Island students providing successful transitions between our growing student body and polytechnics, universities and employers.
